Sustainability at the Core of What We Do
TORR is committed to contributing to a better world with a sustainable future and to improving the social, economic and environmental well-being of the community. We recognise that our operations have an impact on the environment and society — so we will minimise that impact through responsible practices.
Building upon the pillars of "Social", "Economic", and "Environment" consideration, we have set direction to ensure the integration of sustainable management throughout our operations. In 2024, we published our first formal Sustainability Report, marking a milestone in our ESG journey.
Our Sustainability Commitment
Our commitment is grounded in three principles that guide every aspect of how Torr Energy operates and reports its ESG performance.
🎯 Accountability
Being transparent in how we measure, disclose, and improve our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance — with data published annually against a clear baseline.
🤝 Responsibility
Ensuring our operations respect people, communities, and the environment — from zero accident culture on site to responsible waste management across all five office blocks.
📈 Continuous Improvement
Building capacity, embedding ESG in our daily practices, and aligning with global standards and Sarawak's 2030 vision — with a clear roadmap from baseline to independent assurance.
